Lake County Veteran's Service



The Veterans Service Office is a County Department governed by the Lake County Board of Commissioners. Federal and State regulations determine the guidelines for veterans' benefits. Our staff interprets regulations, helps gather required documentation, and assists in filing claims for disability, pension, and for survivor and dependents benefits.  

Benefits may include hospitalization, education, home loans, property tax exemptions, compensation, pensions and insurance depending on the individual.   Veterans' Services provides a variety of outreach services as needed and assists in the completion of related applications and claims.

Office Hours

Lakeview Office

Mondays, Tuesdays, & Thursdays – 9:00 am to 5:00 pm

(Walk-ins welcome from 9am to 4pm)

Fridays – Appointment only

The Lake County Veterans Services Office is located on the main floor
of the Courthouse across from the Planning Dept., in rm# 215.

Christmas Valley

1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month our Veterans Service Officer travels to the
North Lake Annex in Christmas Valley from 9:30am to 3pm. (Appts. Can be
scheduled for Summer Lake, Silver Lake, Adel, Paisley & Plush on those days)

Appointments are recommended, Walk-Ins are welcome.
