Lake County Treasurer
ORS Chapter 208 tasks the County Treasurer with receiving and disbursing all moneys for the County. ORS Chapters 294 and 295 designate how and where cash and surplus funds may be deposited or invested. ORS Chapter 294 also outlines local budget law and procedures.
Additional functions managed from the Treasurer’s office include collecting Motel/Lodging tax, processing Community Development Loan applications, grant administration, and tax distribution to all Lake County local governments.
The Lake County Treasurer's Office is located on the lower floor of the Courthouse (corner of Highway 395 and Center Street, Lakeview). Normal office hours are 8:00 a.m. to Noon and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
